Privacy Policy

Effective October 4, 2026

This page explains the information Streamly uses to run creator pages, guest requests, and payments.

Information we use

Creators provide an account email, profile details, public channel links, and offers. Viewers provide a name, email, request details, and optional public credit when they book. Route requests include selected places and a preferred time. We also use session cookies and technical data needed to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

How it is used and shared

We use this information to show creator pages, deliver requests and booking updates, verify channel ownership, operate maps and Creator Intelligence, prevent misuse, and provide support. We share data with providers only as needed for these functions, including Stripe for payments and creator onboarding, external map services for routes, and email and analysis providers for their respective features. Creators receive the details needed to handle requests. Public credit is shown only when the viewer opts in.

Private route practice location

When a creator starts a private practice route and grants location permission, Streamly temporarily records device coordinates, accuracy and update times to show route progress. In the Streamly Routes Android companion, the creator explicitly starts a visible location service. It can keep updating location while the creator uses another app, until the creator finishes the route, disconnects, or stops sharing. The route's private test viewer link shows an approximate recent position and its last update time; anyone holding that link can see it. Other public visitors do not see this practice position. We use device location for this route progress and destination check-in, not advertising, and do not sell it. The companion can open Google Maps for directions; Google Maps handles navigation under its own policy. Streamly clears the last recorded coordinates when the creator finishes the practice route, and clears abandoned coordinates older than one day when the service next handles a request. Location can stop updating when permission, signal, or the phone service stops. A device position or reported arrival does not prove a broadcast occurred.

Payment information and retention

Stripe collects card and payout details through its own forms; Streamly keeps transaction references and booking states. We retain records as needed to operate the service, handle disputes and support requests, and meet legal obligations. Contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of your information, subject to records we must keep.
